Our Florida Vacation
In Feb. 1997 we traveled down to Florida. While there I bought a bit of pink flamigo fabric, & took lots of pictures. I always intended to make a little memory quilt & never got around to it, until now.Our quilt guild has been challenged by a guild in Florida to send little quilts with "an Alaskans view of a day in Florida". I have actual photos of the pelican & the Epcot ball that I could have just photo transfered on to fabric, but instead I traced them on to the white fabric, & colored them with pens & pencils, & free motion thread play.
