Kwajalein Undersea & Minnie
The small wall quilt is a sea coral made from my hand-dyed wool scraps & threads & tulle. It was the beginning for this undersea vignette & shells & coral bits are pieces Brandon picked up on the beach in Kwajalein.(See link on my link page for his web page). Minnie was made from a Patty Culea Maderis pattern. I made the tail out out lots of little pieces of solid fabrics to make scales. Her hair took 3 days of sewing 1 strand of "hair" at a time.
