A New Leaf Reverse-a-purse
This is my latest purse. The fabric is raw silk that I shibori-dyed & over-dyed. The strap is made from yarn & silk fibers, I machine stitched zig-zag over the yarns & fibers, then added a lot of beads. I also made the button (tree-spirit), & the cloth beads. that were just bits of the fabric, that I rolled up & glued with "It's Ok to Wash It" , a fabric glue that won't wash out.
