Earth Day Challenge Quilt
The background blocks in this little table topper, are recycled from fabric that started it's life as floursacks, that were turned into kitchen curtains, that were eventually used as drop cloths for painting, that ended up in my hands, & my Earth day challenge. I cut little squares that I wrapped around smooth rocks, placed a little leaf in the middle, then took old nylons & tied them over the whole thing to hold the leaf in place, then boiled them in yellow onion skins to dye them.
