This purple quilt is traupunto. The quilt has been quilted twice. First to place the image/design, & background areas are cut away, then more batting, backed & quilted again. The design was then highlighted with a pearlescent fabric paint to help make the image more visible. I made this right after I turned 50, hence the goofy title. It measures 16 3/4 inches square.
