This traupunto quilt, was made as a sample, intentionally a little wonky on the black lines. The traupunto areas have a layer of black batting in front of white batting to give a slight shadow to the raised areas. Birds in each corner, this was all free hand, freemotion, minimal marking on the top. The only area that was marked before quilting was the center wreath, with a light chalk. No marks remain. The thread is Sulky Sliver thread in gold. It measures 14 1/2 inches square.
