Our Cabin

From September 2, 2004 until Nov 28, 2005 we were living in an apartment & driving 20 miles across town every day to work on our cabin. We always had to go back to the apartment by 5pm each day to feed Aunt Ethel. She is 92 years old now. The Project has taken much longer than our contracter said it would (he said 3 weeks). Have you ever seen "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks & Shelly Long? We've lived it! We're still working & will be working on it for years. I'm posting it all here so family & friends can see what we're doing. Last photo added 9/20/06.

In the year+ that we worked on this we had to deal with illness & injuries. Surgery on Warren's knee, then surgery on mine after we moved back in. That's why I have time to work on this web site, & why there aren't a lot of pictures of Warren building things. He was unable at the time. He just built a lovely closet though, & the shelves in the bathroom.
